Propane vs Diesel
Diesel. I just bought a Chinese Hcalory for $150 and it is amazing. Way more heat and much smaller form factor. I believe it autocorrects for elevation since it is an input on the app that comes with it. It burns so clean I run it for a couple hours in my 3car garage without exhausting...- Borny1

Good point. If you are lucky enough to be union which is the large majority of employees, you get a carrot. If you're a sucker like me and salaried though, you get the stick.- Borny1

That's not indiscriminate. Those are the employees with the least amount invested in them and the easiliest to replace. You want them to fire a 15 year employee who has been trained and experience? No. When I say I have lived the DOGE experience, I mean the exact same thing. I work for one of the largest O&G companies in the world. Tens of thousands employees, millions including contractors. Indiscriminate firings happen about every 10 years. 10 to 15% of the workforce. They fire...- Borny1

I have survived the DOGE experience at least three times in the private sector. It sucks, but it needs to happen when times are tough. It also helps identify the key and not so key roles. Why should government jobs be any different?- Borny1

Ramshot "Grand", seems to be a solid powder.
I just about bought some Grand, but there is zero load data. I'm reloading a 7wsm for the first time. Anybody know how Magpro compares to it for speed? I'll be slinging 162 grain ELDX'S.- Borny1

Coyotes and foxhounds
Those must be some dogs to run a coyote down. Please tell me more about how it works. Does the yote eventually just get tired and holds his ground? Do you run an initial set of dogs and then release a fresh set? How far is a typical chase?- Borny1

Archery how much do you shoot?
Honestly, I improve very little from practicing. A decent amount of my shots are just shooting to get dialed in due to some equipment repair/ replacement. My rodeo:kill ratio has improved drastically over the years not due to my shooting ability, but due to shot discipline. -

I'm not judging. Easily do-able. My shank the trigger shots are probably 20% early in the year. So if I stayed 40 or under I would be fine. -

I can pull my bloody muddy bow out of its case for the first shoot of the year and shoot pretty good.. For me, consistent practice is where my amount of fliers decreases. My groups tend to stay pretty consistent. -

I hunt treestands alot for elk. You find the downward angle difficult to get both lungs? I have killed a couple that took over an hour to expire due to me not shooting low enough to get both lungs They were like at 10 yds and I am about 12' up. -

I have a feeling that's the majority. I work with quite a few transplants who bowhunt and that's their prep method. Those are also the ones I hear the sob stories from. They have some sweet gear though. -

I can get to 60yds in my backyard and shoot a regular target. I do think shooting a 3d target is better though. When you don't have a bullseye it's hard for me to pick a point. Aim small shoot small is difficult for me on a 3D.
