Hey bud can I ask what general unit you hunted elk in Wyoming. Any other advice I’d appreciate. Bears don’t horribly bother me but I also hunt with a 338LM. But stuff happens fast as I have been fueled dressing elk in Colorado and had black bears sneak in on me that got a quick intro to a 300 grain load.... lol
