    Hi NoWiser, My dad and I are bow hunters from michigan and decided to get our feet wet in the wyoming elk hunting. We wanted to save money and are going for a unit 41-7 hunt. I've been reading through forums on here and saw you hunted it. Wanted to reach out and see if you wouldnt mind sharing how it went. I saw you talked about people driving through the area but thought I'd ask and see if theres more u could share.

    I’ll check when I get a chance. We recently moved so all of our stuff is in boxes. Something is telling me I may have borrowed it out and not gotten it back, too. But I’ll check for you.

    I did. I have a buddy who drew 16B 2nd rifle elk. He forgot it was all Wilderness when he applied. It will be interesting and I'm definitely jealous. No elk hunting for me this year unless I draw Utah with <1% odds.

    You have any luck this year drawing tags anywhere?

    We just drew deer in 16 again this year. We put it as our third choice and was hoping for a better tag but no luck anywhere else. We have 9 points in Wyoming now so we are thinking about applying for deer in 34 or 89.
