Just figured I'd share the following bit of information in regards to hunting on WIHA (Walk-in Hunting Area) properties:
KWPT is working with landowners near urban areas to manage the number of hunters on walk in properties. The urban areas that are being focused on are Wichita and Kansas City. My understanding is that, through the iSportsman website, hunters utilizing WIHA near these urban areas will need to register prior to visiting/hunting on these properties. The process is supposed to be similar to that utilized when hunting on public land in areas like Slate Creek.
