Hot tent vs not

This is an interesting option: https://seekoutside.com/guardian/

Anyone have experience with it? Or did it just launch? Looks promising.
No experience with it but looks interesting. I don't like that you can't use both the nest and the wood stove. I can use a 1.5 person nest with bathtub floor and a wood stove in my Hexpeak XL. All in tent, stakes, dedicated pole, and nest is 72.9 oz so mine is a bit heavier; similar floor dimensions; but mine gives another 11 inches of headroom which can be increased a few inches if you are ok with the bottom being up off the ground a bit. The lighter weight is a plus if the durability isn't compromised.

Quite a bit more expensive than my setup as well which is no surprise. Ultra lightweight usually translates to higher cost. It may be worth it to some folks though.

I've used both hot tents and Dyneema shelters, and I find that each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Hot tents are great for staying warm in cold weather, but they can be heavy and bulky. Dyneema shelters are lightweight and easy to carry, but they can be cold in cold weather.
