Montana S/G/M results 2024
Big fat NO on S,G,M and bison roster #4450 so not in the cards again. In fact I didn't draw a tag in any of the states I apply for. The only hope left is AZ Course deer because that hasn't even happened yet.- tkhuntsman

Bitterroot Mule Deer 261/270
A friend of mine killed this buck in 2018 on Thanksgiving day. We hunted hard the entire season and honestly only saw maybe 2 deer bigger but one was on private and the other was crossing a ridge never to be seen again.- tkhuntsman

Ice fishing winding down
Yeah I'm about done for the year it was a fairly slow season on my end. I got out a lot but had mediocre results each time. Still overall an enjoyable hard water season. I pulled the boat out of storage yesterday and have started going through it to organize and clean off the dust won't be long now.- tkhuntsman

I've got the Henry single shot 12 ga with 3" tss #8s , and a Winchester sc4 I. 20 ga with 3" 7.5 tss , and 5 tags in my pocket so far let the shenanigans begin.- tkhuntsman

Gila monster
I lived in Prescott And used to run around down on the Verde river east of there a lot and saw one. That was about 15 years ago and in 3 years there that was the only one.- tkhuntsman

The Big Snip - How bad is it?
It's a little unnerving because your awake and they use local anesthetic. The recovery wasn't to bad sat in a recliner and iced off and on for a couple of days. There was definitely some swelling but sweats and gym shorts were comfy. I was back at work after 2 days and wearing jeans sitting in...- tkhuntsman
